Thank all of you for your respones, here is more about my situation:

I'm scheduled for a class with Eagle on March 28th bases & equipment not known yet untill the first day of ground school but the options are (EMB-145, ATR-72 or CRJ700).

one the other hand I'm schedule for a class on April 4th with Republic which I'm going for the EMB-145 (Chautauqua).

my career goals is to fly the big jets and to be honest with you I can't get to a decision yet...

I would go for republic if they gonna offer me the EMB-170 with Shuttle America but that is not the case now. I asked for this specific aircraft and was told that they will inform me incase they will have a place for me there.

Keep it going with your opinions, I really need advices!

Thanks

So is your definition of a big jet the E170? PIC or SIC in any of the above will be good enough. Doesn't matter if its the ATR, EMB145, CRJ700 or EMB170. BWDIK, I never flew the RJs.

Where are you hearing this? Overheard on the line? On APC or some other board? Kindles for everyone?

Going to the place that has a base where you want to live is great and all but in my 5 years in the regional game I have had 4 different bases. Although eagles basing situation seems to be stable. DFW, ORD, and MIA are always gonna be there in some form.

Eagle has alot of movement scheduled this year and if American continues to recall and then hire eagle will have massive movement for years. You will probably only sit reserve a very short time.

American is considering selling eagle. If that happens eagle may be in for some shrinking and competition for American connection flying.

Our ops manuals at Shuttle have been on Kindle's since the end of last year. That's old news.:D But I digress. If I were you, I would choose the place with the least/no commute. Not sure if this is your first 121 gig but commuting get's old real quick.

if you are in your mid 20's i would go back to school and pursue a higher paying career field. Then go buy a small plane to fill your desire to fly.
