Default Direct Entry Captains at Regionals

Are there any regional airlines hiring direct entry captains right now?
No gossip please just hard facts.
Thanks for the info

I am pretty confident that the answer (industry wide) is going to be "no". The industry is still in recovery mode from the previous layoffs. Most FO's that stayed accumulated enough time to meet the ATP and company minimums. Qualified pilots are plentiful right now. Next year might be a different story.

Cape Air is. Not sure if they are considered a "Regional" though?

Nope, at least nothing with a turbine engine attached to it...better luck next year.

Not that I know of. But unless you're on some sort of epic quest for TPIC, you will probably have better QOL and similar or better pay as an FO at many jet regionals (after year one).

At ASA our ops don't even allow it...you have to have time with the company as an Captain upgrade requirement.

Probably for the best. If you can't promote anyone from within you are either growing too fast, or hiring from too low in the barrel.
