There is no question some errors have been made at our expense but let's not forget our contract is useless if we dont do everything we can on our part to keep us in business.

Are you serious? I don't get paid correctly or on time, my bids are not out as published or accurate, vacancy awards are a nightmare and you relate that to keeping the company in business? While the contract is an improvement, management needs to be held accountable, and that's where the Union has failed. Miss...

The issues we are dealing with now are completely avoidable and is a perfect example of how to keep morale low. Nice leadership huh? Our next poll should be who is more pathetic? BC and Management, Crew Planning or Payroll...

It is not your job to "keep us in business". That is the job of company management.

Your job is to do the best you can at what you are trained to do, i.e. operate the aircraft in a safe and professional manner in accordance with regulations and procedures. Your other job is to vigorously enforce the contract and have management keep their contractural obligations to the pilot group.

Always remember that your livelihood is that license in your pocket and not Pinnacle Corp (or whatever ailine you happen to work for).

It's everyones job to keep us in business - I have to trust that Management will fix the problems I cannot control, but the idea that because my pay is delayed I'm going to slow down or stop the operation as was suggested earlier in the thread is unconscionable to me. Our success relies on compliance with our agreements with the Codeshares, it's absolutely every front line empoyee's job at any Company to ensure the Company is successful, the paycheck is guaranteed - it will come unless the Company doesn't exist - which for all regionals is often just a decision away.

You are walking a fine line by saying that the paycheck is guaranteed because in reality it isn't. This isn't my first air carrier... my last one closed with 4 days notice... my paycheck was guaranteed there too...
I am not advocating a work slow down at all but it needs to be understood explicitly that if you don't get paid (as little as it may be) you should not be expected nor required to work. There are consequences in life... both positive and negative... it just seems that in regard to the continuing pay issues no one is being held accountable.

While there are parts of this post I agree with, I think the inherent problem is, as pilots we strive for perfection and are expected beyond any doubt to be good out our jobs. It is expected of others to be the same. We deal with this in everyday life as well, when someone isn't good at their job it's upsetting. It's accountability. No "bad day" or apology memos will make any mistake we make right. And to a lesser extent, same from management. It has gotten old, become a pattern and is disrespectful to the crews that carry the load and are not allowed to make any relative mistakes. But each and everytime there's a problem, we are told they are working on it, and it inevitably happens again or worse in the future. Whether it be bids, bids timelines, bid awards, vacancy process, vacancy awards, pay, pay timeline etc. When is enough enough? We allow then these snafus because of the attitude from the posts above and a lax stance from the Union leadership. And I have always applauded alpa, as you can see from any one if my posts, but now is the time- the beginning- to set the tone and stand up as one. I can only think a hard, no bull**** stance now will be beneficial for the future!

Has anyone else still having issues with correct pay? And did the last check go to the 401k? I went to fidelity and the amount from the late check was not put in the 401K, even though it was deducted

Pay is finally right, only took an extra week (one direct deposit and one manual check). No, no Fidelity deposit despite the deduction.
