Man, screw going home. Unless you are going home to get laid, its not worth it. Party by the pool, stumble down to the Hoot, whatever

3-4 months from first sending out apps to getting the call from the one I wanted to hear from. 2 interviews...was placed in a pool from the first, and then took the class date from the second.

Hey everyone, I haven't posted on here in a while so I figured I'd jump back in on this thread. I just graduated from Embry-Riddle in May, interviewed with XJT on the morning of September 6th and got hired! So I guess I'm battin 100 right now (thank god). However, I was an intern with XJT over the summer so my odds at getting the job were greatly enhanced... To everyone starting class on October 2nd, I'm hoping I'll be there with u guys! I'm not a citizen so I have to wait on clearance from the TSA before I can get assigned a class date. As far as systems goes, I sat in on that portion of the class as an intern and also took the test. Trust me, it's really not that bad. Here's my advice: DO NOT READ AHEAD, you'll only confuse yourself. Just pay attention in class, listen to the instructors, they know their stuff and will make sure you know the important stuff (like what's on the test, hint hint hint...). Once again, I hope to be there with u guys on October 2nd!

I put a resume into Pinnacle and ASA, and was offered an interview at both place and I went to the Pinnacle interview first. I was offered the job the next day which I took.

I was lucky; a great friend of mine is good friends with our recruiter. He gave her my resume in person. I received the interview that day for the next week. 7 interviewed and I was the only one hired. I brought 4 recommendation letters from SKW pilots and during the interview several other friends of mine just happen to be at the training facility where the interviews were being held. My interviewing CA was impressed that I was friends with over 20 SKW pilots. Because I was so connected at SKW my process was smooth and easy. I know others that weren’t so lucky. Good luck and keep plugging along, you'll get there.

Three interviews. Three job offers. Batting 1000.

The job offer at AWAC came a day or two after the interview.
