Default Supplemental income?

What do some of you regional pilots do to make some extra cash? I need some ideas because I am tired of eating bread sandwiches.

1) Pimp
2) Ho
3) Stand with a sign begging for money next to the interstate

Seriously though...

Drive cars. Post adds for the snow birds in FL on the web. Call ret. home in FL and tell them about your service.

I did that for 4 years and I made a BUTTLOAD OF CASH. I was making so much money, that I actually took a leave so I could make some real cash and pay off some bills.

I charged $.50 per mile + Gas.

Teaching people how to fly RC helicopters.... making a boatload that way.... haven't flown regional yet though. Hmmm, looks like there's gonna be a pay cut in my future.

Flight instruction is the optimum thing, but if you have enough time, you might want to check in with the FAA about becomming a Designated Pilot examiner.

Just an Idea

Wouldn't that be cutting into your 1000 hours of yearly commercial flying? Unless, of course, it's unpaid.. but then it wouldn't be supplemental income.

Although ground instructing might be a viable option, schedule permitting.
