Why do they need pilots? There are about 40 pilots in MEM on the Saab, 65 in DTW and 75 in MSP. Even after absorbing these 180 pilots they still need more pilots? Does anyone know if they are still interviewing?

No more newhires will be going to the jet... now that we are all one company, there will be a vacancy bid for each newhire class, and there are plenty of saab pilots with standing bids for the jet... so from now on there will no longer be pilots hired directly to the jet... if pinnacle needs more RJ pilots, they will come from XJ saabs or 9L turboprops, and the newhires will fill in the vacuum from over there...

Your "corporate" people must have inserted mind probes into all of our saab and q FO's to guess the future then.

If I was a Colgan fo there would be no way in hell i jump to the jet and get seatlocked and miss out on an upgrade.

I hate those Indians and the language barrier they bring to the table. Almost as bad as Air Wisconsin ops!

not to burst your bubble, but it's never going to change... now that we're all one senority list, those of us who are already here have first dibs on whatever equipment or base there are openings for... the newhires get the rest.. they try to "change" anything and we'll strike...

(disclaimer... I'm not an ALPA nazi by any stretch of the imagination... but if I'm getting stuck with a crappy domicile I'll be damned if I let a newhire take something better than where I'm at...)
