Sorry to come across so bad,I didn't really mean to jump on you personally there's just a lot of misinformation out there. It's likely that various people in the union or company believe there IS a freeze in conjunction with 200 to 900 and I myself wasn't sure prior to looking it up however as you can see the language is VERY clear. I just want the company to abide by what they agreed to and the easiest way to assure that is if we all know what they agreed to.

So by your understanding we can bid ATL and upgrade back to the 200 in less than a year? I understand the writing in the contract, but it isn't in the FO section and we all know how the company can play that. Paging higney!

Careful...

Copied from somewhere else:

Section 24.G.6. states that a freeze will not be imposed in conjunction with Differences Training. However, Section 24.G.3. (applicable to F/O’s) and 24.G.4. (applicable to Captains) both include language that the Company may argue places some restriction on a pilot’s ability to freely bid back and forth between the 200 and the 900.

I have been given a 2 sided answer. I'm remaining quiet since it doesn't impact me and I don't have a final answer. Talk to a rep when the next vacancy comes out.

The next Vacancy should be very interesting.

I hear multi-class bid with DTW and MEM SF340 going away at the same time.

My sources say next week... As in beginning of August.. It will be very interesting. If I get bumped out of DTW I will be a very unpleasant person to be around. That commute is rough enough as it stands.

They could open up more -200 Captain vacancies along with the displacement of the Saab pilots, this could help you.
