Atlantic Express or Atlantic Jet sound nice, but they convey the impression of a small, localized regional airline rather than a North American powerhouse which is what they are going for.

Reading all the comments on ourASA, I see a lot of people saying Atlantic
Express or Jet. Take a look at the combined route map people! We are all over the country now and I don't want a name that has some gerographic name in it. |

Very true. I don't really understand why they are so concerned with that. Delta, Northwest, Southwest, Alaska...all powerhouses with a small, localized, regional connotation.

Names mean nothing. The passengers could care less what you're called. They all think it's Delta or United anyhow. I bet those Southwest pilots are really embarrassed to be flying all over the country with some dumb geographically linked name. How about we just rename all the connection carriers "Sub-contractor A, B, C, etc." It would make identifying them a lot easier. |
I think SkyEast or EastSky is the easiest way to go here fellers

Something old school: Transcontinental Express

All those names were conjured up Pre-Deregulation before they were allowed to fly somewhere else. Hence the term "Legacy."
