Give it time...when this amazingly huge endless hiring boom begins, you know there will be guys out there that get in with a commercial/multi and nothing beyond that.

Yep, then when it stops and the furloughs start those same guys cant get jobs doing anything, because even the most basic CFI jobs want 1000 ttl with 250 instructing, and the $10/hr C182 skydive jump jobs suddenly go to 500-1000TTL with 50 flying jumpers. Then those same people get stuck for 2 years trying to get one of those jobs till the regional start hiring again.

Just the way the cycle goes I guess. Sucks to the be the ones who start flight school when mins are 250TTL for a regional, just to finish training to find out you need 250 MORE hours to even get a CFI gig.

Someone got hired with bare bones 190 hours a few years ago. Recently at least one got hired with 250. Don't wait to apply.

I'd love a chance to fly those ATR's before they get parked..

Don't know when I will get that chance, when will I get called by Eagle.......

whats the pass rate through training with such low time guys. At RAH, we are hiring 1000-2500 total time plus 100-200 multi and have a pass rate of about 20%

Also flying the ATR is a very good expierence. you will learn alot about flying in that airplane.

I applied last week with 2200 total/160 multi and got a rejection email 2 days later. Didn't even get an interview. Any ideas why?

Not enough info Jeff. You current? Anything on your record? Current flying gig? Degree?

Lots of stuff Eagle is particularly...particular about.

Also are you positive everything was absolutely complete (especially the addendum)?? I would go back through your app with a fine tooth comb to make sure. The email you got (provided it was the first) was automatic. Good luck...
