So basically to run the program on all three platforms it would cost about $280.00. Does that sound about right? Or do they offer discounts for the package?
Logbook pro professional is about $100 for the PC version, which you have to buy for the App to work, plus $35 per year for cloud sync, plus another $75 per year if you want the schedule importer. From what I can tell, log10 costs are one time fees and the cloud access may be free.

Currently use logbook pro, and I have no intention of giving that company another cent.

Thinking about switching to Log10, does Log10 offer some type of schedule importer?

I'm not a MAC guy (at least yet), so I've used LogbookPro for several years now and have been fairly happy with it in general.

That said, I'm not at all pleased with their program for the Android platform - to utilize it I have to pay a monthly fee for the cloud sync. I don't need cloud sync (other than to utilize my phone to enter trips on), and I'm confident I could accomplish a sync via cable or bluetooth if they would make provision for that. I'd happily pay a resonable one time fee to purchase the program rather than shell out every month for the stupid cloud I don't want. To me that's just exploiting me and forcing me to pay you every month - two thumbs down. As a result, if I ever get a (Mac/iPhone/iPad) I'll take a closer look at LogTen.

Yep. Free schedule importing; compatible with most airline scheduling systems.

My guess for cloud syncing, it'll most likely be free from Coradine, but there would be a fee for using iCloud or whatever Apple is calling it, much like MobileMe is a paid service.

For cloud service you will need to buy the UPGRADE, will not be able with LogTen 5.

But hey...this is the latest: "Buy LogTen Pro for Mac now then upgrade free to 6.0 later this fall"

Log 10:
Is it difficult/possible to print from the ipad or iphone?
If i buy the ipad and iphone apps will they sync to each other?
I just scanned the icloud web page and it said, i think, you get 5gb for free...is that not enough for this app to sync to icloud?
I guess years down the road when we all have the iphone Xs and the ipad 8s will we have to by new applications for each new device and does anyone know how easy it is to transfer all the data...i guess that what the icloud is for.

Most people I know use the iPhone or the iPad, not both. Yes, you have to pay for each individually but you pay for what you get. It's the best platform out there plus the support, by far, is the greatest hands down.

No, it's not difficult. I can print over the air with my wireless printer

Ya, if you sync them currently via Bluetooth or WiFi. I tether a lot with my jailbroken iPhone thru PDAnet and usually sync up that way when my laptop is connected. With iCloud and LogTen 6, syncing will be even easier

Well, my CSV file is 3.9MB. Of course 5GB will be sufficient.

Yep, you've got it. It's basically a massive expansion on the current MobileMe platform.

Data transfer for LogTen is easier than me typing this to you and if you ever have a problem just email the guys at coradine and they'll fix it. Plain and simple. I think the new version will work with icloud. I'll have to email them and ask.

If you are going the logten route, just a heads up, as of right now you need to upgrade to OSX Lion. I wasn't too happy with that so I posted on their support forum and they let me know that they will have 5.8.2 for Snow Leopard on the app store soon. It will also be eligible for the free upgrade to 6.0. I have been hesitant on upgrading to Lion due to the bad reviews and the fact that some applications are still not working properly on Lion at the moment.
