I really don't have much to say about the Gojets folks themselves. I am not in their shoes and so I can't judge. The management of TSAH is where the real problem lies. They circumvented the contract with TSA pilots to create Gojet. Do the Gojet pilots really think they will be treated any different?

I think that if you dont have anything positive to say than you should go back to Flight Info.

GoJets was created to get around American Airlines 50 seat scope. Listen again......Are you listening? TSA was given the flying with a dollar an hour raise. YES, I said a dollar and hour RAISE. No airline today is offering any raises in the new contracts....EVERYONE IS DEMANDING CONSESSIONS. Don't believe me?? Ask Pinnacle, Mesaba, Comair, ASA, PSA 70 seat airplane for 50 seat wages...that's what this was all about, you know it. My friends were called back eventually, but one had no choice but leave alltogether as he could not wait around to get called back with a wife and two kids. The other was a bit more lucky and found employment else where flying the same type equipment. It doesn't change the fact that they were furloughed, it doesn't change the fact you're still sitting in their seats. The scope could have been dealt with by issuing another certificate and having the same seniority fly those aircraft just like many other companies do it. So again your arguement doesn't hold water. You drank the Kool Aid, and you pretend that what you did was right, how do you sleep at night? If you needed money there are other more lucrative industries you could have gone into until you got a call from a good airline. You guys won't even make eye contact with us, when we see you in the terminal at STL............pathetic! |

Don't know who you are but if your trans states....management has put a two dollar an hour paycut on the table...DM has even asked our group to help with the negociations. As far a looking at you guys in the eyes....I say Hello all the time and usually just get a blank stare back...what happened in Albany, your guys threw a fit and ended up late because you didnt want to ride with GoJetters and now you get a crappy hotel for their temper tantrum. One last thing about the guys furloughed....they were all hired after me...It was already my seat because the more senior TSA guys didnt want it. |
Answer this:
The scope could have been dealt with by issuing another certificate and having the same seniority fly those aircraft just like many other companies do it. You know this was about flying the bigger equipment for 50 seat rates. Man, at least the Freedom A scabs lived up to what they did. It is my friend's seats as those seats should be flown by the same seniority list under a different certificate. Answer the statement, you said the company was created to circumvent AA's scope....well, how about what just posted above. whether you're a good person or not you will always be a scab, I just got the most rescent list sent to me by a friend, it's alot longer than 82 names! |

Bingo!!! I guess we have folks that will sell their brother off for a dollar! |
An extra dollar an hour is 70 seat pay?? Holy sh*t...where do I sign up?! I bet they'll let me fly a jet and everything!!!!! Oh man, the girls at the bar will love that too...
Now if only I had a day off in base and more then 8 days off a month...oh, and I wasn't stabbing other pilots in the back... |

OK we all agree GoJets sucks. BUT, when I read these post as see comments about "foreigners" and "US Citizenship required" it makes me realise how much prejudice is alive and well in America today.
Give it a rest. This has nothing to do with prejudice. Don't we owe it to our own citizens to offer employment first to those who are Americans. You are a typical bleeding heart. I know Americans who can't get flying jobs. You disgust me. |
