well maybe you can enlighten me to EXACTLY what happened. Last explained, AMR could only have a certain # of airplanes, so in order to get the crj 700's, they had to sell emb 145's... is it true?
Well I met alot of eagle pilots and not one has ever mentioned that they were remotely upset, so I can't see how the pilots at TSA did anything wrong. I just don't see it as the same situation.

Just another attempt to cloud the fact that Hulas found a loophool to take our flying. He did it....Trans States pilots did it....and now they are getting what they deserve.....ask if your senior pilots at tsa remember the "Relax Eagle" stickers. Im sure they do......now if it wasnt a big deal to a pilot group than why would trans states spend their own money to print stickers......It was very insulting and really flew in my face.....It was very classless.

so Hulas bought planes for his airline that he already had pilots for... thats what TSA did? So how is that different than what CHQ did to get XTJ flying, or any other airline did to anyone else. Did AE have flying to get, and did they start a new airline to steal it from you? And then after all this occured did TSA pilots willingly knowing this join TSA? If that were the case I can see how you are mad... but it isn't the case and I just think you are comparing apples to oranges.

Ok i just found all this and want to throw my .02 in.
Do you folks remember where you came from? A fair chunk flew those crappy cesena's with the nasty smelling fbo just for hours. When someone has loans out the ass and mommy and daddy didn't/couldn't help you go to embry retarded, what are you to do? I have a family, and thank god a descent living right now, but if I wanted to go to the next level, gojets and maybe eagle would be the ppl calling..... Remember sometimes it isn't about the fellow man, sometimes it's about having the gas to get to work, or paying for the baby going to the doctor. It's not like some of us have a choice.
Everyone is quick to say gojets took work, and they employee all scabs, and I am sure there is some, BUT some of those have to make sure the kids get fed.......Or is that not a factor

As a human being I would have to agree... but as I pilot I would have to stay neutral, I don't know if it ultimately did take jobs away from others... and more to the point, those who were furloughed could have been anyone of us... I think this industry involves a lot of luck whether we like it or not and I think that being able to accept that and live with it is half the battle.
I believe that if you are not happy with your present conditions, you should work to change what you do and for whom you do it. No single person has the right to point fingers at those who work to support others, especially if they have not crossed a picket line... throwing the term "scab" around takes place quite a bit on this forum and yet these people, in my opinion, have not earned that title. I cannot say that I have been in others peoples shoes but if it came down to feeding a family or declaring bankruptcy... I choose my family.
Just a thought........
