well maybe you can enlighten me to EXACTLY what happened. Last explained, AMR could only have a certain # of airplanes, so in order to get the crj 700's, they had to sell emb 145's... is it true?
Well I met alot of eagle pilots and not one has ever mentioned that they were remotely upset, so I can't see how the pilots at TSA did anything wrong. I just don't see it as the same situation.

Thats a BS statement. I work for Eagle and everyone over here was and still is ****ed at TSA. You are doing our flying and to add insult to injury you are doing it in our airplanes. Eagle was the only regional to comply with APA's scope clause while AMR found loop holes to farm out our flying to the lowest bidder. Now your own company is doing the same to you with Go Jets. You might even call it karma.
you guys are sad, to say the least.
when are you people going to realize that bashing each other, whether it be on the ramp, the radio or a message board is what get's screwed over
in the first place?

whether you work for a regional, fractional, major or 135m there is one thing you need to realize: WE ARE ALONE! ALL WE HAVE IS EACH OTHER!

That sounds an awful lot like a union, and the pilots at GoJets made a point of skrewing over the Trans States pilots. People call them names and stuff because we DO want to stick together, and they didn't! And while they don't technically qualify as scabs, that's close enough in my book.

ugh, this was on another thread, but I'll address it again. They are not the same situations at all. TSA was an already existing company who won flying from American for being a lower cost operator. You can be mad at AMR for putting it out there, but don't be mad at TSA for winning the flying. AMR didn't suddenly create TSA and hire all new pilots to fill a TSA seniority list in order to circumvent an Eagle contract. It's not the same situation!

You have totally missed the point.
American Eagle was supposed to do all of the flying according to the contractual ageement that was signed by American Pilots
The Pilots agreed to the scope clause because it provided jobs for the furloughed American Pilots and kept the flying in house.
Hulas found a hole in the scope and was able to bid on flying believed to be only done by American Eagle...not American Connection.
A lot of Eagle Pilots lost jobs and Captains upgrades.
If TSA Pilots wanted to support their fellow Pilot and continue to raise the bar, as they claim, they should have refused to do the flying instead of take jobs and upgrades that belonged to American Eagle.
They are still operating 10 airplanes owned by AMR.
Seems to me they are getting what they deserve.

It truly amazes me how bitter that people are. Life is to short. Be concerned with how you are supporting yourself and your family and not so much with how the next door neighbor is doing it. The stress level would be far lower, but then...what would we have to complain about?
You cannot logically blame the pilots for taking jobs to feed their families, be mad at the company. Its like finding your wife with another man and being more mad at the other man than your wife. Place blame where it is due, with the company and then move on if you don't like it. Nobody is stopping you. A company will do what is necessay to maintain profit margins and to fit whatever business profile that the investors / owners wish...right or wrong. Welcome to the business world. Business is business people, get over it or risk being a very bitter old (wo)man. The glory of our free society is that you can go work wherever you want, and the good comanies will take care of their own if they want to keep them. Eventually, the "bad" companies will be weeded out. Attrition is expensive in more ways than one.

This is, and will always be a bull**** arguement, as most of us in the business know, you can make more money at Mcdonalds than your first year f.o. pay anywhere. So please, everyone has a choice, and these people chose to backstab their brothers and sisters...theirs is coming.

Last time I checked TSA didn't have XR's in their fleet. I work for a real airline Mr. man, not an alter ego like yours. Good luck moving on to a real airline.
