Or TWA guys who had no job or ACA guys who had no job or United guys that are waiting for their job back.

 

I'm gonna have to call bull**** on that one. There are 14 regional and majors currently hiring other than ScabJets. People can make all the excuses they want, but it doesn't justified actions. Scab is scab, if people are really trying to "support their family" Mcdonalds, Target, and your local grocery stores are all hiring paying a better salary than what we start out at.

 

OK we all agree GoJets might be career suicide. BUT, when I read these post as see comments about "foreigners" and "US Citizenship required" it makes me realise how much prejudice is alive and well in America today. I think you should just say, screw the foreigners because I want all the jobs for myself. Unless you are a native American and have Indian roots then someone in your family was a "foreigner" as well at some stage, as is 98% of all Americans, this country was built on immigrants! I am sure we are all glad to have our little blue passports now, but keep in mind "foreigners" have built our country into what it is today. Don't despise the immigration laws now that you and your family are taken care of and are too many generations removed to remember where you REALLY come from. Prejudice is an ugly character trait, makes me sad to hear so pilots talk publicly like they are stuck in the dark ages. What's funny is that when the post 911 furloughs hit hard and thousands of Americans got great jobs overseas (Emirates, Etihad, Qatar, Japan, etc,.) nobody was complaining about all these "foreign" airlines giving us jobs.

 

Im going to call bull#@$% on your statements.......with over 5000 hour total and 2000 hours turbine, I sent in resumes every month for well over a year...guess what...only GoJet called because they wanted experienced pilots. A lot of recruiters that I have spoken with believe the regionals only want pilots with less than twentyfive hundred hours because they believe that more experienced guys will not mold well to their socalled way of doing it.....Can't blame a guy for wanting to provide a livelihood for his family when nobody else will give him a chance.

 

Mcdonalds is hiring for the same salary you'll make your first year you scab. Let me be the first one to thank you for personally displacing two of my friends...great example your setting for your family! I hope you realize what you did to your career and to the industry...

Nobody has been displaced because of GoJet....once again your ignorance shines. The pilots displaced were so because of the parking of the props and the parking of five jets that were losing money on shared revenue flights instead of pay for departure.

If you really have friends there, than you would know that they have been called back and TSA is now having a new hire class.

One more thing....they turned down a dollar an hour raise when the rest of the industry is making concessions.

Lets end this list rumor now....there is no list...ALPA in the beginning put one up with about thirty names and has since taken it down. GoJet has more than One Hundred and Fifty Pilots at this time with Fifty more coming by the end of the year.

So you deny that Blojets was created to circumvent the collective barganing agreement between the TSA pilots and the company? They were furlough, one had to get out of aviation all together and the other went to another company and had give up his QOL...but of course it's not your fault, I mean you guys are so innocent in all this, you just took a job...right? Wrong!

The list is alive, I have 82 names on mine, and now that you mentioned it, it is time for an updated one. People like you make me sick, you lowered the bar on the bigger equipment, and said to the corporate america airline culture "is ok to start a new company, ****** seniority I'm desperate!!, I'll fly anything for whatever". 5,000 hours my @ss, two of my class mates had nearly as much an they got hired, of course they had good attitudes and would not stab a brother in the back...maybe that's were you went wrong.

Is that why you guys are always walking with your heads down in STL, and won't get on the same van with other airlines...Scab, always a scab.
