It's because the "lines" come out today. Its an all hands on deck kind of thing up there that takes a month to create...you know..with all of the last minute flying we get every month...to the same cities at the same exact times as last month.

I'm really curious to know if we are actually making any sort of money on all this RDU and MIA flying or if this just a temporary thing. From what I'm hearing, it seems that Delta is moving to a policy where we will be on our own as far as the costs of operations and fuel is concerned. However, if we were to turn a profit on our routes, we will be allowed to keep more of it for ourselves.

If SH is consistently saying that one of our best assets is our credit rating, we should use that credit rating to invest in aircraft with much greater fuel efficiency than the RJ and that would fit into the jetbridges in ATL and elsewhere. But of course, nothing is going to happen until this merger with Expressjet is complete and I'm guessing it will be at least 3 years before the integration will lead to cost savings.

They are still waiting to see how many take COMA which was delayed because they screwed up the vacation bid. Then there's the fact that Go Jets can't even staff the jets they bid. On top of that, let's face it, our management isn't the most competent out there and this might have been another of their 'inconvenient' mistakes.

But seriously, I'd guess we'll hear something a week or two after the new vacation awards come out.

Is this a fact that is mentioned somewhere else?

Allow me to amend - they can't currently staff. We will not see displacements soon due to a sudden loss of 8 -700s because it will be a slow transition.

From the original press release:

A delivery schedule is not detailed by GoJet, although it notes that the full 15-strong fleet of dual-class CRJ700s will take 12-18 months to join its fleet. A financial analysis provided by GoJet also indicates that 12 will be added by the end of the third quarter 2012.
