Hotel Points and Flight Benefits
#31
I dislike people like this. They think they are the be all end all of what is a regional pilot. The same type that criticize people who choose to not accept a "bro" class at SKW. Ever consider that someone may not be able to commute to Helena, MT bro? Ever consider that someone else's needs are different than others and the rest of the world, thank goodness, does not have to think the same way? Ever consider that someone is simply asking a questions while OTHERS HAVE TO YELL AND CAPITALIZE WORDS BECAUSE THEY FEEL IT NECESSARY TO YELL IN ORDER TO GET THEIR POINT ACROSS? Whoops.. I stooped again. I have to quit this.
Before passing judgment on anyone regarding their career intentions consider the fact that you have no idea who they are or what their life situation is. The original poster made it clear that his intentions may be slightly different from the 23yo CFI Maverick sportin his ray-bans. I know several pilots who spent 20 years in the military who are collecting pensions while their wives do very well in their career. They just want to fly. Hotel points might be a worthy requirement for an individual like this who that may I remind you that you don't know, is looking for a some flying fun and a free hotel room now and then so them and their spouse can travel more. There sure are a lot of Jesusus on here.
Oh, and next time your at your local supermarket head down the cereal aisle and grab that big yellow bag of 'save a mart' brand that says compare to (name brand) in real small print. Go head and pick it up and carry it on down to the big boy brand and line em up side by side. Slide them aviators on and smile because finally you compare to the 'real deal'. Your non-GoJettin 'bro' and all. Well, good thing for them rose colored bans because that big yellow bag tastes like brown hole and everybody knows it.
Additionally I have included instructions on just how to answer the original posters question. Real simple, no SOP required. Ready??
Hi Original poster. I work for save a mart brand and our company does/does not (only one answer here) allow pilots to collect hotel points. Maybe with enough replies similar to this brief example the original poster can efficiently get their question answered without mama telling him that he needs to pass the interview first and what his career intentions should be.

You could probably sell some of that crap to new CFI's with SJS.
