(Next) PNCL Vacancy?

Anybody have any informed information on when the next vacancy might be? It seems like there is one every couple of months but with this last one being so big is it going to be longer?

Thanks!

May or June. Nothing until all the classes are through on 11-09 they can not start or offer any other class dated until the first multi class is complete.

What do you mean by this?

Vacancy? You do realize the higher ups are tossing the 'F' word around, and this time, I don't see it as a fear grenade. I knew it would happen. You can't park 36+ airplanes and not expect a single layoff. Our attrition isn't high enough to bail out a loss of several dozen airplanes.

...and just wait til we start losing RJs!

I question what "higher ups" you are referring to.

The company opted out of the Saab Boston flying because they needed staffing not because it was unprofitable. I highly doubt the company would opt out of flying that was making money just so they could spend even more money to furlough.

From the people I have spoken to...... hiring at PNCL indefinitely.

I don't believe that. They can't staff the planes they have now and they are contractually obligated to staff at a proper rate and they are going to start furloughing? I believe it if they are contemplating bankruptcy and massive changes resulting in huge fleet adjustments but no way are they going to furlough in the current state. What is attrition right now? I've been hearing 16 a month minimum, that is with no one hiring. At that rate they are losing almost 10% a year, they aren't going to furlough and risk not being able to fly any planes next summer. One of the biggest problems this place is going to encounter in the future is attracting and keeping the proper talent around to fly their airplanes. I still think this place is in the process of imploding, this whole thing is a huge cluster, a rudderless ship about to run aground. I expect the whole thing to just fall apart in one big crash of which one cause will be an inability to find and train pilots fast enough.

Really? I heard some of the "higher ups" saying we are getting 83 Qs next year.
