PNCL might be financially struggling, but their press releases are little more than negotiating in public.
They're holding a bankruptcy gun to the head of their creditors and vendors, saying "Renegotiate terms NOW, or we're gonna pull the BK trigger". If you were a vendor, would you renegotiate terms more favorable to PNCL now that they've come out and rather loudly said they are struggling and need to reorganize or roll the dice and take your chances in front of a bankruptcy judge? Yet again, another failure by airline management...who undoubtedly will be recycled in years to come at another airline. |

It was especially interesting when SM was questioned regarding equivalent concessions on the consulting agreements with the previous CEO and CFO- "its really that simple, they have contracts"
