YUP, they have contracts for those consulting deals and they cannot be broken......but the pilot contract, oh we need concessions. |
I'm sure thats what he wants but we better not give anything up. We fought and fought for this new contract and now they want to rip it up after a year. I say let them declare BK. We worked for wages that were below anything standard for years. I say they had better look elsewhere for cuts.

Yup. We worked for YEARS at less pay to buy another airline and a bunch of Q's. Those were concessions.

NO Pilot Concessions! I'll be the first to say it, STFD!
We got dragged thru the mud for 6 years only to have our new contract shredded??!?!?!? No frickin way!! Grind this engine till she blows. |

Will the union guys from XJ give concessions? This is exactly why PCL guys voted their own guys out. Anyone?

Here's a thought I had about training issues associated with 11-09. I'm not sure of the numbers but I bet there are a few.
How about preventing the flow-throughs to Delta from switching aircraft? Not only would this reduce training costs, but it would probably "encourage" them to do this sooner rather than later. Thus requiring us to hire new pilots, who are at a lower pay rate? |

Delta is not hiring so they cannot leave through the flow. You also need to take a look at where these flow guys are on the list. They are senior. The only ones moving are getting displaced off the Saabs. |
