As of right now, all new hires are going to the Colgan side so there is no chance to hold ATL as a new hire. Things can change or you can bid over to ATL after your year seat lock.

Colgan---EWR, CRW?? One year seat lock?? No bueno for the milkman.

Thank you for filling me in.

Also ATL is a 900 base only and it will take longer than a year to be able to hold the 900 as things stand right now.

Stock price is a good indicator of the future when it comes to airlines and bankruptcy. Investors have lost confidence in our airline, plain and simple.

Is anyone else tempted to buy PNCL at this valuation? I almost bought AMR at .37 last friday (put the order through but it didn't fill) and I still regret not getting in it (especially as it soared to 1.17) and after a 22% decline in a day it may be a tempting option...

I'm not tempted. My doom meter has been active for several months, and it's peaking now. I was a BK naysayer. Not anymore. The wheels are coming off.

Don't forget that in 2008 PNCL's stock was under $1. It climb up to $8/share the following year.

I possibly read into it too far. Mesabah's typically sentiment is of that bandwagon, which is what I thought he was saying in his post.

What really is sickening is that Pineapple can't "afford" the new contract increases when the contract is nothing earth shattering and still quite cheap. Simply the best...

What is sickening in this whole deal is how big regionals are and what kind of contractors Delta decides to do business with. Delta should either do it themselves or at the very least hire respectable companies that pay their employees a reasonable salary, $16,000 a year for a flight attendant is not reasonable, $20,000 is not reasonable for a first year FO.

Exactly. Scope scope scope.

That was my battle cry in the DL contract 2012 survey. Let's hope there were many others.

Thank you! I hope all mainline pilots decide to take back scope.
