Default Let's buy PinnaColAba!

Given the current share price, if all of us pilots ponied up about $3000 (say 4k for CAs and 2k for FOs), we could own 51% of the stock.

We might be buying a dry well, but at least WE would choose our fate.

For captains, $3k is less than the 5% we're being asked to give away.

Better yet, have ALPA slice dues by 1%. Instead of 2% pay 1% for just one year.

Let ALPA finance a purchase of the airline. As the majority shareholder they can fire all the worthless scumbag managers that have run the airline down. Cut the payments for the multi million dollar goldern parachute packages that DS and PT are taking each month. Then turn the airline around into a worthy airline that does not treat employees as if they are peasants.

At 84 cents a share the market cap is only 16 Million right now. I think ALPA can afford 51% of that. Heck, sell it off once they clean house and the stock is back up to 5 bucks a share

Keep your hands off the Mighty Saab! It's the last airplane most of us will actually fly before we become systems analysts.

Besides, the Saab isn't made of aluminum, they are cast iron.

Buying an airline...might as well put that 3k in a garbage can and light it on fire.

Use that 3k for booze and women and at least have fun.

You want to know how to become a millionaire? Take a billion dollars and buy an airline.

It may be a lost cause, but....

$3000 is a small price to pay to have control of your future. You could control your destiny.

You may be buying into a failure, but at least it is YOUR failure.
