They do love outstation basing here (saves on mgmt paying hotels for crews to overnight) That means you will always have early reports with late finish. The bases are not commutable unless you can drive. The trips are nowhere near productive. I just had 2 3 hour sits in clt in 1 day. 14 hours of duty with 4.5 flight time. I bid in the top 50% of base. I'm sure trip times are more commuter friendly in the hubs (PHL DCA ORD ATL). CLE isn't anymore since they fly delta trips out of CNTL hub. It is what you make it though. It is a regional. I have friends @ pinnacle/ trans states/ colgan.. Same complaints..
i wouldn't leave any regional for another 1 unless they are hiring street captains. It beats flying around in a caravan in severe icing.

I can tell you for a certainty that lines here at 9L for a line holder run 85-95hrs credit with 13-16 days off. This is on the Q, can't speak to the Saab lines. We don't have out station bases, we have min day credit and cancellation pay of what you were given in the initial pairing. Are we always efficient? No, but it's much better than others
