would you still expect an rah pilot (lanyard and all), to stop by the cockpit on a company deadhead?

Nice post! Respectful and level headed. Maybe you should stick around and see if you can help turn things around here at APC.

I commute on F9 frequently too. Great bunch of people. Like some other RAH posters here, I've only wished you and the former Midwesters the best. (Nasty Rat not included as my goodwill only goes so far) As far as the lanyard goes, really, who cares? I've written before that I think it's silly to wear one when deadheading or commuting on Frontier because of the unfairness of the IMSL arbitration. Yes, as a native RAH person I believe the Frontier FOs were hosed. There's no way I should be above them on a combined aviation seniority list. Regionals have less value than Majors. But that's my opinion and just an opinion and therefore inconsequential. To my bros: why rub salt in a wound? Be a decent person and take the silly lanyard off when riding Frontier. I don't condone Frontier peeps getting wrapped around the axle over a lanyard but I certainly understand where their emotion is coming from. As should any intelligent person with a little bit of empathy for their fellow man. But in the end, it's an accessory. Is this still Junior High? I learned a long time ago to see past accessories while discovering the true nature of a person.
I post less and less all the time and this will probably be my last. I'll still lurk from time to time to get gouge on places I want to move on to but most of these threads turn toxic and useless pretty quickly. Good luck to all of you at Frontier, all the former Midwest folks, and to all my peers at RAH. As always, everyone is welcome on board my flights and if I know you're back there I'll ensure that if there's an open seat in first you'll be in it. |

This is a test to determine whether or not it is possible to have a respectful and constructive conversation between "native" Republic pilots and Frontier Airlines pilots.
Go for it. Only 9 more respectful posts and I'll be proven wrong.:) |

Too bad, was a good try. But it seems we have our winner here.
You know how we (99% of F9 pilots) feel about that (ibt). I will NEVER join ibt. They were forced upon us. Since the law says I must pay for them to represent me (), I will pay for that - as a dues paying Objector Only; but Not a penny more, and again - NEVER as a member. The lanyard thing is somewhat childish. I have taken many rah/bros on My jumpseat with them wearing their/your ibt lanyard. I have Never denied them a seat for that or any other reason. I also have ridden in the rah/bro's rj's JS, without wearing anything union or association related. Why? Because common courtsey reveals how much of a 'slap in the face' it is to either party. Maybe this is where the maturity lies. idk. I does appear though that Mulva was correct in that APC does seem to attract many Griefers and the like. |

It was a completely true statement. If people cannot join they probably know the reason why. On the IBT board you will interact far more than you would here due to larger participation. Make an effort people if you really want something constructive with a forum...
To have access to your (ibt) website, forums, etc, you must register and be a Member. Objectors are Not members. Again, I will NEVER be one (a member of ibt). :) |
