The Corvair was a sexy car. And, yes, I know about Unsafe at Any Speed. Like most of his stuff, it was a crock. Kinda like saying "all those prop planes are dangerous." Compared to other cars of its era, the Corvair's safety was about the norm. The "dangerous" swing axle he mentioned was used on the VW bug for decades, but somehow he never referenced it.

Well after last night MEC update I think it is forsure safe to say Menke is out of his mind ( I have been a tinsie bit optimistic in him doing a decent job) but with the last couple messages from him and the Union, hes definately just trying for a money grab.

Yup, the union messages and the company's failure to issue the 4Q results makes me think that we're not in such bad shape and that without all the one time costs associated with the merger that we would have made money in the 4Q.

I find it interesting that you guys are trying to get under others skin when your entire operation my not exist in short time.
