I'm pretty sure it is. If you ask your reps and read between the lines, it all points that way. The good news is that the union thinks PNCL can absorb the displacement without furloughs.

I'm wondering because we are seriously considering moving there soon.

From what I gather it could go either way. Chill out for another month and we should know then.

If you have a family and it's a big move I wouldn't do it. If your single... Why not.

But re-dispatching an F'ing RJ is stupid to begin with. On a 3 hour flight what do you save from the 10% maybe 300LBS?
Re-dispatching works and saves real gas on 8+ hour flights in large aircraft. Only 9E and Delta would come up with something as stupid as re-dispatching a regional jet.

ASA will be running STX (former route of 9E) in May. It will be on a 700, so they sould be able to run a full load.

PNCL did this on their own. Phef em... let them rot.

You also fly for a regional airline, ASA. Delta loves the musical chair game. Enjoy your good times while they last. This is not a good landscape for any regional airline, and Delta is especially ruthless!

Saab drivers doing W&B by hand again if the PDA's are going away?? The dispatchers must be working their Tales off if the Saab drivers will soon be calling them for #'s and most of the CRJ200 flying for fenced pilots out of MSP goes to airports without ACARS coverage already, so you have them calling for #'s also, geeze!!

By "his widebodies", do you mean the ones that have CA in the tail number instead of SW or EV?

I am not trying to be annoying, as I posted this on a different thread, but what is the story on the 16 900s from "old Pinnacle"? It seems the only discussion is about Colgan.
