Apparently its in June, which is what the article was originally posted as saying then was change. Were only properly staffed for about half of the current Saabs we have, so parking all wont be as big of a hit as some think...Plus what happened to all those Qs Luv2Rotate?

Interesting. I can't find a word about the announcement the article mentions, though.
My mobile phone won't access the article, but the headline just says planes, not service....Not sure if that matters.

So far I think I have heard every dang thing under the sun about this...furloughing some, out of order, the sky is falling, no its not, we are getting flying, company x is taking all the flying. Oi vey!

Does your friend know how many laws he's breaking by telling you this? This and all the friends in the know with NDA's.

Didn't know the rumor mill could churn this fast.

Well not completely true. Yes at the end of March those 135's will help to cover the lfying while 145's undergo heavy checks but they are here to stay until they figure something else out. I had a conversation Today with someone who has an idea whats going on and they are bringing all of the 135's back eventually. Take if for what it's worth.

I'm wondering if I should start taking my vacation now, before some judge decides the company can throw away the three weeks I already earned last year. It wouldn't be fair at all but am I to understand they can do whatever they want in a BK? What kind of painful things are we looking at here? I don't see how life on the bottom could get much worse, we are already constantly bumping up against FAA restrictions and pay can't get much worse.

I wouldn't worry about this years vacation but I am sure glad I sold some earlier this year at this years pay rate. Last BK at XJ everybody lost one week the following year.
