They still have the sims in IAH as far as I know. Makes you miss Hoot County, huh? I have used the sims in HOU twice now... such a crappy area.

FRom those who just interviewed, what's the deal with hiring the rest of the year. The company hasnt really said anything official for hiring past Aptil.

The company has officially said in a memo to the pilot group that upgrading will continue through the end of the year and new hire classes will be scheduled indefinitely.

I have the same question about ORD ERJ...what a dung fest!

In the schoolhouse yesterday. Officially no newhire classes are scheduled past May. Thoughts are that they hired too much (not sure about that, see next statement). But upgrades are supposed to continue the rest of the year. So really they would almost have to continue newhire classes.

Also.. word is that we have hired 600+ pilots since hiring began and have lost almost that many. Someone threw out a number of 70 pilots have really only been added to the list when you take into account the amount of people leaving.

All this just came from folks in the training center. Even they dont seem to know whats going on as you can see.

Where have 530ish pilots left JUST XJT for?! That's what, like 1 in 5 pilots here having left in the last year? Mark me down as skeptical of those numbers.

Where are they all going?

How can we possibly have hired too many? I got junior manned the other day in ORD because we didn't have a single reserve available!
