There were only 3 people in my interview group. We all had over 1600 hours. The other 2 guys had turbine time. They were interviewing like 6 per day, until they raised the minimums. Obviously, the pool has shrunk.

Short presentation.

3 computer tests. 16 section Cognitive, 300 question Personality, and 60 question delta aeronautical knowledge test.

one page of HR type questions you have to write responses to.

one page written paragraph.

lunch

Interview: Mostly instrument procedures.

Then they drive the group to the delta building for fingerprinting and dating forms.

Then drive to pee test. Then back to hotel, done by beer-thirty.

No written knowledge test. (just the computer test)
No Sim.
No HR interview. (just the written questions)

The delta test wasn't too hard, but harder than an FAA test. It was broadly reaching in subject area, holding, weather, systems, light gun, runway marking, hand signals, turbine stuff, regular and transonic aerodynamics, etc. I think I probably made an 80 on it. I think I would have been able to make a 60 to 65 without studying. I studied all the regular stuff, aim, etc, and the turbine pilots flight manual, since I had no turbine time.

Everything is done at Delta now, not at ATech?

Sorry. My post was in error. The HR stuff was at ATech. Testing and interview was at the Delta building.

I work a couple of side gigs with clients I met earlier in the aviation field. I spend a lot of time of overnights catching up on consulting work, and unfortunately have to spent a good chunk of my days home at the airport taking care of General Aviation aircraft of different types. On top of that I do everything I can to get flying on reserve - I use aggressive pick up, bad day/worse day trades, even bug scheduling at random - that got me 35 credit hours over min guarantee last month + extra per diem (though that's hard to do regularly). This so I don't have to sell my car and/or condo. Even with all that extra (which brings in more than my piddly first year FO salary, I'm still struggling to make enough to cover all the bills. Good thing is that I only have a couple of car payments left, so that should help soon ;).

New "crew room" rumor today mentioned we are going to run more CRJ classes. Only plausible reason I can think of is Pinnacle...
