Default Pairings Generation

On the -200 ATL side of Express Jet we had the company produce pairings solution that ended up not working when it came time to bid. Our union has access to the software and runs their own solutions to suggest to the company but the company only has to 'consider' our input and often disregards it. I have heard that the Horizon pilot group controls their own pairings generation - does anyone else?

Would anyone at Horizon be willing to email a copy of your contract so we can push for similar language for our new contract?

On the ERJ side of the "same company" we, the pilot group in the form of union volunteers generate our own pairings and build our own lines. We then have the option to modify our lines however we wish...all by roughly the 11-13th of the month when our schedules go final. Please spread the word to the "CRJ side" of the company.
