1500 HR/Grandfather
So without reading through about 1000 pages of people griping and nonsense, can someone give me an update on the current ATP rule for 121 and what the situation is there? Have they decided on grandfather or not?
I'm at 1300TT and getting out of the aviation world for a little while. If and when eagle hires again, I'll jump on board. I'm currently full time instructing but would like to take a job paying MUCH better for a period to get out for a bit and recharge my batteries. But don't want to shoot myself in the foot being just a couple hundred hours short of the "magic" 1500 hours. Thanks!

Besides the PNCL guys, which we will see how many get furloughed, there are no guys out there to hire if they raise the minimums!

I forsee an increase in part 135 operators of 2 pilot aircraft. That is really the only way around getting a lower time pilot in the right seat of a passenger operation to build time.

Not true unless your flying skydivers?
Since its described as a takeoff and landing at another airport, does not have to be over 50 miles, if you cant get 500 hours of this while flying 1500 with a student, well then idk *** your doing.
