Maybe they were smart and realized a sr. FO usually makes more and has a way better life then a jr capt.

If you are JCE and you have competed IOE then you are getting captain pay, by bidding CRJ FO the company has to do long term trainig with you and you will recive EMB CA untill you finish IOE! This could also be a factor! Or they just want to fly the CRJ

American Eagle Awarded New Contracts at Nine U.S. Locations

Currently, Eagle Ground Handling provides ground handling services for other airlines in Waco, College Station, Killeen/Fort Hood and Tyler, Texas, as well as Monroe, La. As a result of these awards, it will add ground handling services for United Express at those stations, along with Dallas Love Field, Del Rio and Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas, plus Binghamton, N.Y.

Why can AMR EGL do ground handling for UAL but not flying. Eagle had bid on DAL flying in 2008, but was rejected because we were owned by AMR, I do not get that logic.

Wishful thinking... When does airline management ever think ahead?

Lol my new rumor is that we are getting the Qs for UAL flying. If we are doing ground handling we will do flying too. You heard it here first!
