saw a couple of jr captains displaced out of jce to nfc, why were they not able to bid back to same equipment in the right seat? does the jet to jet "thing" apply

Maybe they were smart and realized a sr. FO usually makes more and has a way better life then a jr capt.

...i guess, but my question was why were they not able to bid for the same equipment ? (besides preference, i guess)

If you are JCE and you have competed IOE then you are getting captain pay, by bidding CRJ FO the company has to do long term trainig with you and you will recive EMB CA untill you finish IOE! This could also be a factor! Or they just want to fly the CRJ

American Eagle Awarded New Contracts at Nine U.S. Locations

FORT WORTH, Texas, April 12, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Eagle Ground Handling, American Eagle's ground handling business, has been awarded a contract to handle United Express ground handling operations at nine U.S. locations.

Currently, Eagle Ground Handling provides ground handling services for other airlines in Waco, College Station, Killeen/Fort Hood and Tyler, Texas, as well as Monroe, La. As a result of these awards, it will add ground handling services for United Express at those stations, along with Dallas Love Field, Del Rio and Beaumont/Port Arthur, Texas, plus Binghamton, N.Y.

MAYBE you who laugh at me for saying we might be getting Qs are WRONG, as I am telling you they worked out a bid with the leaser.

Those are all former colgan ground stations.

Why can AMR EGL do ground handling for UAL but not flying. Eagle had bid on DAL flying in 2008, but was rejected because we were owned by AMR, I do not get that logic.

Lol my new rumor is that we are getting the Qs for UAL flying. If we are doing ground handling we will do flying too. You heard it here first!
