The company needs new pilots desperately. They wouldn't blow ~25k on training you just to not sign a return to work agreement.

Believe me when I tell you I want nothing but the best for you guys and gals at RAH. It is really unfortunate that F9 has to be dragged into this.

I don't "think" the OP is contemplating crossing a picket line.

I do not mean this in any derogatory manner, but it is possible the OP is new to the airline world and just wants to know what the heck happens to him or her if 357 strikes, I would have the same concerns as a new hire.

I, as opposed to some F9er's, believe that 357 would protect their new hire pilots. 357's new hired don't correlate in any way to 357 and F9 pilot's relationship.

Honest question, do the RAH new hires begin paying union dues on the day they enter training at RAH? Are they considered union members as of that date? Or do they not pay dues until they are off probation, if you have a probationary period?

It's unfortunate in that this shouldn't have been a fight between us at all. It's a fight that management picked and you guys really had no way of avoiding. Would have been nice to be on the same side, but so much for that.

I would agree with the above. I would suggest staying away from RAH at least until things settle down. Being a scab would follow you for the rest of your life.

The original poster made it pretty clear that she wouldn't cross a picket line.

Working for RAH wouldn't make anyone a scab. The only thing you can do to be labeled as a scab is to cross a picket line.
