It might help of you actually read his whole post...

Perhaps you also think that Emirates' $12.22/flight hr. is ridiculous too???...but yeah, you should probably read the whole section on compensation there too...

They have been running them through IOE here in ANC. They are hired for Boston. At least three on line there in Boston now. One in Honolulu.
I don't think they will hire Street Captains for Anchorage because it may cause problems with the FO's waiting for upgrade.
PenAir is all about keeping the pilots happy, so I am told (I'm too new to know)
I'm interested in the BOS base only. Would it be a good idea to throw them a resume? Is there any chance you could ask around to see if they need more Captains?

Oh that makes it so much better!! 1100$ base pay and 11$ an hr so around 2200$ month is what your telling us???

I'm an XJT FO, took home $3500 last month. What are you talking about?

The only pay rate being discussed here is first year base pay. But good for you.

Oh my bad. Seriously tho, how is the pay at Pen Air after year 1? Street captains probably don't do too bad.
