Default ERJ 145 Question

Can someone please tell me how to check if ATTCS is armed on Takeoff? Cant seem to find it on the EICAS anywhere.

Also, is there anywhere I can get a good ERJ study guide, button book or CBT?? Not much on the internet that I can find.

Greatly appreciate the advice! Thanks

You'll see it at the top of the EICAS in cyan...I think.

Been a while since I've been in the ole girl.

It'll show up above the N1 gauges, in between them. It's not an EICAS alert or anything, it'll just display on top of the engine instruments.

Yup it will appear just under ALT T/O.
But not until thrust levers get advanced.

Great, thank you. While I'm at it maybe someone can answer this as well.

How do you set your bugs for landing? Where do you set the approach speed? Vap would make the most sense, but then where would you put the VFS speed? I assume VFS is the best single engine climb speed right? Im used to the CRJ which we have a Vt setting instead.

If I remember correctly, down on the MFD screen, next to the SYS button, push the MFD button and it will bring up another submenu. In that menu you will see another button that says SPDS. Hit that button and then you'll see V1, Vr, V2 and AP. Hit AP and then with the dial on the right hand side, you can adjust the speed accordingly. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a while.

It's interesting how much you forget about an airplane after only 2 months in another airplane...
