Regardless of what happens with our contract situation, big changes are coming for both AA and AE, so no one should be under any illusions. I'm certainly not. I think expecting every change for AE to be biscuits and gravy is a bit naive though.

I think at this point we are trying to make it out without losing our job, or giving up so much as to lower the industry bar. Both sides of this AMR umbrella. If the two pilot groups could actually stand together, instead of having this animosity, itd be better long term leverage.

sure seems to be the hot rumor! What happens IF the week ends and its not announced?

At least you still have a contract to operate under. I assure you if you join us in uncharted territory, your concerns and stress level will multiply considerably. The minefield we (and the company) are tiptoeing around in doesn't have any location chart for the mines and any animosity between our pilot groups (overblown as I think it is), isn't even on our radar screen right now.

Thats according to my credible source. I got them, just like eaglefly has them. They are looking to close the base by mid Nov.

its 120 pilots out of 3000, ripple yes, massive I dont know, I think closing DFW EMJ would be a MASSIVE ripple.
