Not only do you get switchology, but if you act now they will write you letters of recommendation. That letter is going to carry a lot of weight!

Found the lesson Plan for switchology -
Pre-requisites:
* demonstrated manual dexterity with appendages

Upon completion of this course students will be able to (without error up to 80%):

1. Identify a toggle switch
2. Identify a button
3. Differentiate a toggle switch from a button
4. Cognitively determine whether a button is "on" or "off" based on luminosity
5. Change the current state of a toggle or button via muscular action
6. Numerically summarize the number of toggles and buttons without assistance
7. Hypothesize the relationship between a toggle and/or button and the associated action.

Upon completion of this course students will be permitted to enroll in "Dials and Meters."

I have to say though. It's not a bad price to get a few hours and an SIC rating in the citation. I have a friend that essentially got the same "rating" on paper from FlightSafety. I'm sure the simulator course at FSI cost much more than this one.

That rating has actually got him a number of contract flights in the right seat of numerous citations that he was paid $500/day for.

And you get paid for working as an SIC in addition to the certification. I know one SIC at FSI in the G-IV program with very low total time-and working as a CFI on the side - that got picked up by a G-IV operator as a full time pilot.

This is better than it used to be. In 2002 the charter company I worked for leased a Lear 24 and put it on a 135 certificate out of St. Louis. I went through the training, took the checkride and flew our jet for a little while til the company went bust. Shortly thereafter I got a call from another company asking if I was available for contract work and that they wanted someone for 100 hours. I said sure, and was then informed where I could send my check for $10K.

I don't know what that company's aircraft looked like, but it sure had an expensive right seat in it.
