Rodger, I was not aware of this...I have heard nothing but good about the Q400...

When I interned at PDT, I never heard that Dash parts were hard to come by.

Woops...

Dash parts aren't hard to come by. But Q400 parts are, and are very slow in arriving. Need it in a week. You better be preparted to wait a month. There's a big difference between the 100/200/300 series and the 400s.

The reason why they would be cheaper to maintain...is because they actually still make Q400's, and there are no Saab2000's in production...therefore, Dash parts are WAY easier to come by...hense...cheaper...

Business 101 for the retard...

Muah-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!...
'Talk to somebody who works where they fly 101' for the jackass...

We've had huge reliability issues with the airplane, and still do, even several years after acquisition.

Just because the airplane is in production does NOT seem to mean that there are parts available in a timely manner from the manufacturer.

See, you are working from a position of knowing nothing about which you speak, but rather hypothesizing tidy little theories. I work from a position of tripping over the Q400 crews in the lounge because they are cancelled again.

Let me know if you are interested in any other courses, I have a whole catalog for kids like you!

Yup Mike Colgan is on flightinfo, but he was a little **** having to pay the $10 membership fee. Colgan Air is on shaky ground now but he comes on there to decide what he should do with his airline.
