Colgan Gets Q400

Dash parts aren't hard to come by. But Q400 parts are, and are very slow in arriving. Need it in a week. You better be preparted to wait a month. There's a big difference between the 100/200/300 series and the 400s.

Fokker...do you care to elaborate...I just got home from working all day...and I don't get the humor in your comment...cuz...apperently...nobody laughed at your statement...
The reason why they would be cheaper to maintain...is because they actually still make Q400's, and there are no Saab2000's in production...therefore, Dash parts are WAY easier to come by...hense...cheaper...
Business 101 for the retard...
Muah-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!...

Muah-HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!...
We've had huge reliability issues with the airplane, and still do, even several years after acquisition.
Just because the airplane is in production does NOT seem to mean that there are parts available in a timely manner from the manufacturer.
See, you are working from a position of knowing nothing about which you speak, but rather hypothesizing tidy little theories. I work from a position of tripping over the Q400 crews in the lounge because they are cancelled again.
Let me know if you are interested in any other courses, I have a whole catalog for kids like you!
