Chautauqua E140 Flying for Delta?
#1
Has any one else heard this? I guess they are loaded in the schedule starting in December flying out of DTW. Is is replacing the Comair 200's or is getting ready for a slight drawback at pinnacle for the beginning of 2013.

Delta will pay CHQ pennies on the dollar to do it, and CHQ will operate at a loss on those planes just to get them flying. It's just standard protocol for Delta - they care nothing about the overall health of the companies providing their regional feed...it just needs to be cheap.

There was a news article published about 3-4 months ago that had mention to republic operating E140s for Delta under a "pro-rate" operation.
