well, they finally called, anyways, they offered me the job, glad to take it. chuck sure does become a nice guy once they hire you. anyways, start ground school the 28th in the Saab 340. Again, chuck said only 5 out of 50 interviewed were hired. Don't know whats going on with that, oh well. Looking forward to working with all the great Colgan characters, especially KiloAlpha.

Hey brotha, congrats thats awesome. You are going to have a lot of fun with the SAAB. Whatever you do (I am sure current Colgan guys can attest to this) Don not bid for a MX BASE. Wait until you meet Vic "Your soon to be vast knowledge of the SAAB 340 systems...." "okok Cold dark airplane........" Have fun man.

KiloAlpha 11-16-2006 06:07 AM

hey saab thanks a lot, i have a question for you......my first choice base would be ABE because I have family that practically lives right across the airport fence......is that a good base and how hard is it to get? how long do you think it will take to get that base if my class starts in Jan? what are the routes like out of ABE (your typical day being based there, ect). Thanks!

Also, how would you rate the training? is it really hard, what are the days like, what is the whole process like? Just trying to get a feel for everything since this is my first ticket out of instructing!

BeatsCFIing 11-16-2006 09:59 AM

whats up with the mx bases, like mnz/hef. anyways, elaborate on Vic and Ed's almighty alrighty please!?
