Yeah thats just it, it makes me feel like more of an airline pilot. For some reason doing 3 round trips a day to PIT or IAD and then driving home everynight just didnt seem like the life of an airline pilot, Im sorry if that offends you.

Texas isn't senior...IAH is. Tyler is the only other saab base in TX, hence the overnights for us.

oh i see.....how is living in Tyler? What is the cost of living like? Just trying to get a comparison to taking that base as opposed to a base in the northeast.....thanks

Absolutely not, to each his own. Just wondered why overnights and jets seemed to be all you care about.

Cost of living is average. 3-400/month for appt with roomate. I know there are 4 other FOs in TYR behind me who coincidently came on in back to back new hire classes. I'm not sure is TYR is still open.

oh okay i'm not sure either, I just didn't know if there was a lot going on down there or if it was more small town life...

Jets and overnights are not all I care about, however flying for a company that treats me with more respect than Colgan ranks high on my list.
