I love it when an Internet tough guy tells someone they are hiding behind a screen name. What would you do if you knew his identity? Nothing.

Default Really?

It's annoying to see everybody ridiculing and blaming Pinnacle pilots for the TA being being passed. In the airline pilot profession, specifically the regionals, pilots have literally zero power, because its not their branded flying. Delta purposely built language in there secret CPAs so that they have back door exits to get out of contracts or manipulate the company enough to have much less money than it planned on having.

This reminds me of the Satellite dish service guy that said it would be $39.99 a month, but when the bill came it was $80.00 or more. You planned on a certain amount, but in the fine print language interpretation you realize they can do what they want.

Throw on top of that gross mismanagement and the RLA and what choices with which are the pinnacle pilots left? You are only worth what you can negotiate, and unfortunately due to industry laws, supply and demand, and pocketbook, DELTA is in control. At least for now. A lot of companies in wide ranging industries all over the country know that right now they can get away with treating their employees like crap because the economy is down and many in the labor force do not have many options to do anything about their bad treatment. However as history shows, everything goes in cycles, and following periods where companies treat people like ****, are periods where employees have all the leverage, force higher wages, and jump around the next highest paying job while the company eats the turds. I would even go as far as saying most people in the workforce would leave their job for a better paying job in a second despite how well a previous employer treated them, which is part of the modern phenomenon of employees not staying with the same company their whole life any more (and why people dont stay married anymore).

Instead of saying how weak pinnacle pilots are, pehaps give condolences for their loss. For everybodys loss in this profession. Lord knows your regional carrier is probably next on the chopping block, and you too will see how powerless you really are.

so you're the referee who doesn't throw the flag when he sees the tight end get poked in the eye and kicked in the nuts by the safety, but throws the flag when the safety retaliates......good on you.....

and do tell, did I threaten him? Call his momma a name? what did I say that was "tough guy"?

This is no place for facts and common sense. It is a place for 1 or 3 ASA/XJT goons to prove to people they have balls........

You went below the belt. You saying he is hiding behind a screen name is a personal attack on his integrity and is off topic. I see people play the "you hide behind a screen name" card all the time when they have nowhere else to turn. It was cool the first time somebody played that card back when the Internet was invented but not anymore.

What else is new? Same arguments and points that have been made for years. It's very hard to vote yourself out of a job.
