Attention:

Here we have a mainline pilot (by default) concerned about the future of a regional airline. Wow time has change!

You'd have been better off just grunting and snorting. As suspected, you can't even defend your assertions and run from direct questions asked of you. I'm concerned about the PROFESSION unlike you who has freely admitted in the past you only act in your own interest (on this very forum, no less). We are ALL pilots (well, theoretically). You and your sycophant Little Ricky can throw a net over as many new-hires as you please and stock up on your $500 chits AFAIC, but then you have no right to whine about your pay, working conditions or job security.

Why should your management make the effort regarding your future, if you're willing to solve THEIR problems of your own free will ?

Please TKD, by all means knock yourself out on this. I expect it of you.

F00!, no wonder why you're still an RJ pilot....lol You assume too much. That's what all of us regional pilots need is some kind of unity. I feel sorry for the way you feel about somebody caring about others future. That's too sad.

Actually, I believe they are offering the same $500 to AA pilots if they refer a pilot to Eagle. Yes, you heard that correctly. Not only has this managment outsourced flying away from AA to RJ's, but now they want mainline pilots to assist in their own destruction, by helping staff the carriers that are slated to replace them. Eagle is already slated to have a surplus of pilots and they too will be outsourced (outsourcing from the outsourcer) and in fact, already are, yet instead of improving their conditions to attract pilots......why, they can just get the pilots to do that for them.

What's left to say ?

Well, there is no unity with all the pilot group that's why companies can do what ever they want. Anyways, I shouldn't get involved in this it'll just ruin my day/week/ month/ year then life. I'll just try to read and not post. The one time I posted and showed concern for our fellow regional pilots I got accused as being a mainline maybe one day but not today lol

good day peeps!

Actually he is correct!

This below is from Jetnet;

"American and American Eagle employees can earn an extra $500 simply for referring qualified Pilots to American Eagle. The American Eagle People Department has reintroduced the Employee Referral Program for all active American and American Eagle employees on U.S. payroll. Upon successful completion of their training, the $500 is yours. "
