From what we are hearing at Eagle they can't find people. We actually send people on the road to aviation schools trying to talk them into coming here.
Their biggest problem is people want a faster upgrade and we don't have a fleet plan at Eagle so people are afraid to come here.
We wouldn't be offering a $5,000 bonus if there was a surplus of eager applicants.
There are some high time people from Comair and other jobs. The ATP rule was the game changer. We hired a guy in 2007 with 195TT. Those days are gone.

So why are some FO's on reserve for TWO years?
To be honest, that would scare me to to apply to Eagle.
Thanks

I don't know why Eagle said I didn't meet their recs but I did get hired by Exjt. Most of my time is in DC 8s. The rest is in turboprops. I'm hoping for something better but right now I'm just glad to have a job.

That is awesome info! Thanks for posting. I would love to know how you found those numbers out or what the numbers are for other airlines that are hiring.
