Thank you!!!!!!! You ask for a question and get the world dumbest responses.. This website is pretty pathetic at this point unfortunately.

I'm a former 121 emb145 FO with 2000TT/1600ME. I left the industry to experience something different. Now, 3 years later I'm preparing to come back to the regionals. Anyway, I'm prepping my application for eagle and I'm wondering what the requirement for the ATP and interview are. I plan on getting the ATP written finished in about a month. I look at their hiring page and it says it has to be accomplished before training. Does that mean they will interview before I get the ATP? I'd rather submit the application now instead of waiting until I finish the ATP knowing that it takes several weeks before they call you. My other concern is this: Will airline apps weed out my app if I don't currently have the ATP written?

Apply and find out! Or just call them and ask. The reason you need it before training is because you will be typed and issued an ATP at the completion of training.

Don't get your panties in wad because a couple of guys have some harmlees pokes at each other.

Its called a sense of humor. Save your strict professionalism for sterile cockpit.
(Or when you're buring holes in the sky at mach .80 Maverick!)

Actually the ERJ can't go beyond .77 and they are not worth much at all... Ok, as you were with the previous bickering!

And the CRJ can only go that fast in a dive.

I wasn't referring to the Erj, just regional jet speeds in general. Oh and it's actually .78 for the Erj. I've got 1400 hours in the 145, loved that airplane. I'm thinking about the CRJ this time. Seems like a nice ride and I'd love to get some time on it!

It shouldn't take you long to knock out your ATP written if you already have 121 time. A few nights over 1 week studying should get you there. Why don't you send in your app then work on your written while you're waiting for them to get back to you?
You will need to get it done at some time in the future anyway and brushing up on 121 regs will help you in the interview too.
