Ex-military going to the regionals?

So much for the pilot shortage!

Right... Because every military pilot that gets out automatically gets hired on with a major right off the bat ...

They still need a job regardless of where it is. I know several ex-military that have taken jobs at regionals and were later hired at a major before getting to the left seat.

.
Back in the day, or if there is a shortage of qualified applicants, yes.

That's my point.

I heard a rumor of a new contract for xjet. Anybody else hear the same or know where there might be more info on that?

No, no contract. Negotiations have been wrapped up. Now it gets written, then sent to the MECs, then to the pilots. At the very earliest it'll be 2-3 months before a contract

How long does it take for a new hire to hold a line in MCI. I applied online, but have nit heard anything. 6000 TT with 121 PIC.
