Heck you are under the microscope the whole time till you finish training. Don't do or say anything in the training center, hotel, HOTEL BAR, Flight Safety or anyplace the company pays for or has access to that you wouldn't mind the Company knowing about.

Yes they do and they can relate the IP address from which you posted to the one you submitted your application under. They are indeed on these forums.
Also for people interviewing at Eagle, remember there are cameras in that waiting room area and some of the applicants are HR people incognito seeing how you behave.

turn off the Bourne Supremacy movies. The only way to get IP addresses from the posters here is via court order. If you apply online to an airline they may/may not capture that IP depending on how their systems are set up. If you are on the road and log into APC via hotel wi-fi, and get home tomorrow and submit an application from the house, absolutely no way they can link the two together.

Though when trying to get a job a person does need to be on their best behavior I always get a laugh when this issue comes up. Airline HR depts are typically far too busy to investigate "personal behavior" of applicants prior to a job offer. They simply don't have the manpower to make such efforts standard. Believeing they do this is beyond paranoid.
As far as Eagle placing undercover HR people in an interview group I will only say I'd have to hear that straight from the horses mouth to believe it. They just don't need to go through such efforts as the "tools" always shine in the interview itself or early on in training. Something like that is a lot of effort for very little payoff. I've been to 6 airline interviews in my antique career and I've never seen anyone blatantly misbehave while waiting. There, of course have been a few "out of place" comments but typicaly pilots conduct themselves pretty maturely while in the waiting area.

APC and Internet Brands will not release any identifying information about a user under any circumstance, unless complying with a court ordered subpoena.

No way does an HR person even have the time to sit on APC/FI... research posts, link IP addresses or whatever other black ops things you guys may think of..
At the very best they could browse here, and if an applicant had very specific details in their profile (TT, a/c flown, past companies), and said "I have an interview schedule for the 28th" then maybe... but very doubtfull.
Here what you need to know for applying/interviewing at a Major or even some regionals...
1) Be professional and courteous from the moment you check in for your flight to the interview to the moment you get back in your car when you return. Some airlines will know where you are traveling from etc..
2) If you are put up in a hotel for interview, be courteous there as well. These hotels know who's there for interviews.. And word does get around.
3)HR/hiring people will be strategicaly located during the interview. They may pose as receptionists, secretaries etc.... always be on your best behavior while in the building.
4)Don't get out of your suit and tie as soon as you leave the building. Stay in the monkey suit unti you get home/hotel.
5) Do clean up your Facebook/Twitter/MySpace
accounts.... IF there are 20 of you interviewing that day it does not take very long to research your pages. That is common in any industry these days.

But again, no way for a casual researcher to get IP addresses or other information unless you make it visible in your profile.
Also we have had people request that their APC posts be removed after they came under fire from their employers, typically due to a dispute with said employer about pay or Mx.
None of this is speculation, it's all happened.
Other than that, you give good advice.

But it's easy to track individuals. It took me thirty seconds to find your name and I'm sure you could find mine easily. By the way - nice dead stick landing in the Caravan.
