Remember, USair along with Alpa are saying that Eagle is to costly.

ALPA is posturing to pass PBS, the whole uncertainty about our cost being archived is tied to PBS.

Eagle life

Not exactly. RJ is actually kind of right with regards to US management saying we may be too costly. If you read the newsblast yesterday, they referred to the possibility that eagle possibly being too costly especially in the post-pinnacle bankruptcy environment.

well then let parker get pinnacle to fly for the new AA. my attitude these days if the the flight leaves sobe it, if it arrives at destination so be it, i dont do no one elses job. leave late, misconect so be it. you pay for what you get. pay little get little back in motivation. simple as that.

more power to the pinaccle pilots, dont wish them any bad wishes, but if parker wants there cost then hire them.

By the way, PBS will be passed by these corrupt union officials at eagle before the end of june this year, because word is they willbe out by then from office. they are all scurrying to get requald on there old aircraft.

If the new management thinks we are expensive they can shut the place down and give the flying to someone else. The union is saying that management doesn't know if we are going to achieve the BK savings for the company and that could be a problem with the "pinnacle era". Well they currently fill classes at the refionals and exept is to take paycuts. I am sorry, our pilot cost are average in the industry... Remember that the only thing they are looking to outsource is the Pilots, FA and dispatchers. They will keep the rampers, gate agent and other functions. This is just them trying to continue the race to the bottom and our union is trying to get PBS passed and they are using this threat. Our pilot group is not expensive. They can't fill classes and have to cancel flights because they don't have enough pilots!!!

let egale shut down, then they will achieve the lowest cost structure they wish.
burn it down for all i care. tony and his crying wolf bs is old and we have had enough, maybe the 75% who voted yes are doing well. There pay rates have not changed to the increase they were told, chicago is beng replaced with Republic, junior pilots being awarded flying out of seniority and having senior pilots sitting reserve, etc.

RJ Pilot 05-04-2013 10:13 AM

It's still beyond me why pilots still want to come work here.

oooohh, ooooh i know, i get a pref interview at aa osmetine in 20 years.

People use the place to get enough 121 jet time to move on to a Major or National. No one is looking for a career when they come here.

buddies8 05-04-2013 11:32 AM

is that how you justify everything. the same sell outs here are going to the mainlines, the stripes dont change and balls dont just grow.

On the plus side our upgrade is down to an amazingly short 6 years again...
