are the FOs that will eventually going to be displaced out of the EMB due to the inbound CRJs have the opportunity to bid for the CRJ in NY or do they transfer along with the EMB ac?

If you are displaced from your current status, you get to choose whatever you can hold with your seniority.

And by whatever he means seat equipment and base. A senior FO on the ERJ in NY could be displaced and bid whatever his seniority could hold to include a Captain seat if he is senior enough.

Would I get three moving days if I'm awarded a base I proffered for?

Yes. Expect an annoying HI6 towards the end of the month.
Congrats. This should help your commute.

Did you proffer to displace of did you bid it? Two very different scenarios as both will get you 3 move days but if you were awarded a vacancy only one of them is paid while the other two are unpaid... Displaced get 3 paid move days plus if relocating you will get 4 days off at your discretion, in other words you can take them over a 4 day trip and get paid for it "for moving purposes"!!! ;)

With the new information concerning the CRJs, any idea if this will change greatly the ability to get DFW out of training, or soon after?

It will depend on what is offered in class, if you the ERJ you should be able to get DFW as long as hiring continues.

Hiring to replace the flows. Parking planes will continue. So really it's a status quo situation with shrink along the way.

Remember, USair along with Alpa are saying that Eagle is to costly.
