We need to do beers soon, and not the "cheap SHOT" you send across the bar "anonymously". Hehe. That was some horrible tequila in minny btw, I'm still thinking it was cheap rum. It was a mix of burn and god knows what.
Saucer time?

AA wasn't bluffing about awarding 47 airplanes to RAH. I'm sure that got peoples' attention. Plus Eagle is a pretty top heavy pilot group. I'd imagine Eagle pilots felt the squeeze from mainline AA-just like every regional does by mainline. Have you ever flown freight? Maybe you ought to try that. Captain on your first day, no regional whipsaw. You get to vote with your feet.

Wow. You have a big set of brass balls. 2 years in the industry and 8 years of lurking on APC and you have it all figured out.

So Eagle voted in a contract that was concessionary and lost flying? Was Eagle threatened with "vote for this or go away"? Because if you voted that in, while still keeping your jobs...what is worse? I understand people are mad. Shoot, Pinnacle people are mad about what happened. But, don't come at me all hard when crappy contracts get voted in all over at places, and being liquidated was not a threat.

I didn't say overnight every single pilot on the street, and every single airplane turned over the next day. How long did it take to wind down Comair? A few months. The Pinnacle wind down was forecast to be a year if my memory serves. Seems very do-able. I will say again that XJT, SKW, and GJ all stopped hiring shortly after this vote. Coincidence?
